The Parkway Council congratulates the City of Philadelphia on its receipt of a $23.3 million Rebuilding American Infrastructure with Sustainability and Equity (RAISE) grant from the U.S. Department of Transportation for multimodal and infrastructural improvements to Eakins Oval and the Benjamin Franklin Parkway. This transformative award will improve traffic safety and flow at Eakins Oval, enhance pedestrian and cyclist circulation, and create new public spaces along the Parkway.
